Architect - Senior Partner - Member of the Executive Committee

After studying architecture in Belgium, Bruno began his career in the New York office of Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) where he worked on several institutional and large-scale buildings. Moving swiftly up the ranks during a pivotal moment for the firm with several overseas projects in the Far East, Bruno spent three years with the prestigious firm before enrolling at Columbia University for a post graduate degree where he obtained an MSc in Advanced Architectural Design.

Bruno returned to Europe from the US and joined ArtBuild in 2003 to help the company expand internationally, moving to Paris where he successfully oversaw the French activities of the practice for over ten years, developing a number of prize-winning projects such as headquarters for both Thales communication and Groupe UP.

With the Parisian office fully autonomous, Bruno returned to his Belgian roots to confront new challenges as a key partner in the main office, working both locally and internationally. Through small, cutting-edge projects to large scale developments, he explores new architectural and urban territories, creating sufficient space for the team to challenge themselves and push the boundaries of our practice further still. He strives in creating a dynamic interaction with his clients and consultants and bringing out the best in any given situation.

Bruno currently leads the teams which have won competitions for The International Agency for Research on Cancer (CIRC-IARC) in Lyon and the secretariat of the European Parliament in Luxembourg. A member of the “Order of Architects” in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg, his role on the Executive Committee of ArtBuild sees him involved in the substantial decision making alongside his three partners.

In his spare time, Bruno is an avid cyclist and traveler, seeking out new adventures on dusty roads and mountains paths, challenging his passion whilst nourishing his thirst for discovery.
