Leona DOBBIE

Leona, born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, finished her Bachelors and Masters in Architecture at University of Waterloo’s School of Architecture in Cambridge. She continued her studies at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in Law, focussing on French public law.

She joined ArtBuild shortly after she finished her undergraduate degree in Law in 2016 and has worked on many projects and competitions with the firm since joining the team.

Independently, her design focus is strongly inspired by the study of the occupation of the urban fabric by the individual. Exploring both the residential aspect and the public aspect and understanding the dialectic between the two.

With ArtBuild Leona has appreciated discovering the many facets to the built world beyond the simple inhabitation of the city, exploring the realms of health care, hospitality, and the work environment.

Leona is always eager to find better ways to build and design and enjoys learning and growing both creatively and technically with ArtBuild.
